Alex Aleman is a New York native and earned a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Iona University in 1995.  He began his career in the financial services industry as Controller at a registered investment adviser, institutional investment management, and several hedge fund firms. For 18 years, he was the Head Trader at Bennett Management Corp., a distressed debt hedge fund, where he managed all financial operations and served as Valuation Committee member.  He has more than 20 years of fund management experience in operations and accounting.

Mr. Aleman is Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Volumetric Fund and Volumetric Advisers, Inc., since 2024.

Alex is married and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, whether it’s at the beach or traveling.
