Jeffrey Gibs brings more than 35 years of investment management and operational leadership experience to his role as President of Volumetric Advisers, Inc., and as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Portfolio Manager of Volumetric Fund. He has been affiliated with the firm since 1988, contributing to its strategic direction, operational strength, and disciplined approach to portfolio management for more than three decades.

Mr. Gibs earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Monmouth University, in 1988. He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase) in the global custody division of the U.S. Private Banking Group, where he gained foundational experience in asset servicing and institutional operations.

Prior Mr. Gibs held senior operational and compliance positions at two registered investment advisers, overseeing back-office and middle-office functions and serving as Compliance Officer. He later served as Vice President and manager of a hedge fund administration group at U.S. Bank, where he led teams responsible for fund accounting, reporting, and operational oversight. These roles further deepened his expertise in regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and client-focused service.

He served as a consultant to Volumetric Advisers and Volumetric Fund beginning in 1988 and was employed full time as Vice President from 1997 to 2001. Mr. Gibs later returned to the firm, full-time in 2015 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Volumetric Fund in 2022. He presently oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment strategy and business operations, including portfolio management, operations, accounting, investor relations, compliance, and marketing.

A second-generation leader, Mr. Gibs is the son of Gabriel Gibs, Founder of Volumetric Advisers and Volumetric Fund. His long tenure with the organization reflects a deep commitment to continuity, integrity, and the firm’s long-standing investment philosophy.

He is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family and visiting the beach.
